IS YOUR CHILD'S BACKPACK OR BINDER OUT OF CONTROL??

Do you wonder how your child finds anything in their binder?

Are there papers flying everywhere?

Are assignments frequently missed or misplaced?

If this sounds familiar, your student may be the perfect candidate for Binder Bootcamp, an ongoing PTSA initiative to help students struggling with organization. Approximately three times a year, parent volunteers work one-to-one with students who are referred by teachers, counselors, and parents to evaluate binder organization, assist students with organizing their binder systems, and provide them with needed supplies. If you have questions or would like your student to participate, please send an email to Angie Warren at BinderBootcamp@issaquahmiddleptsa.org with their name and grade.

Volunteering to Help Students:  The number of our parent volunteers directly determines the number of students we are able to help each session. Your assistance can help us reach every student who needs assistance. Do NOT count yourself out because you're not "super organized" yourself. We assure you that as a functioning adult, you are more than qualified to impart the basic organization skills these middle school students need. Please add yourself to the email distribution list by clicking here so that you'll receive messages when it's time to help with this program. Thank you!

Helping Your Child: If you're looking for guidance to help your own child get organized, feel free to check out the two program guidance documents below that we share with our volunteers to identify the best organizational practices for IMS students:
